Waitlist privacy notice
Notice version waitlist-privacy-v1 · Last updated 18 October 2026
This notice covers the FamilyOne CFO launch waitlist only: what happens to your details when you join it on familyonecfo.com or app.familyonecfo.com. The FamilyOne CFO app will have its own privacy notice when it opens.
Who is responsible for your data
[Company name, UAE] runs FamilyOne CFO and decides how waitlist data is used (it is the "controller"). You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, which you give us to join.
- Optional details, only if you choose to add them after joining: your first name, the country you live in, and who manages money in your home (just you, you and your partner, or the wider family).
- A consent record: when you joined, which version of this notice you agreed to, and when you confirmed your address.
- Abuse protection: to stop automated sign-ups, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is using the form (Cloudflare looks at technical signals from your browser to do this), and we count sign-up attempts per IP address and per email address. We store those counts against a scrambled, one-way code (a salted hash), never the raw IP or address, and delete them within a few days.
We never ask for your phone number, date of birth, income, bank or account details, or anything about your children.
We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without following you across other sites. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Why we use it
- To confirm your email address, by sending you a confirmation email.
- To tell you when FamilyOne CFO opens, and about launch pricing, before anyone else.
- To plan the launch, using the optional details (for example, which countries to support first).
We use your details because you asked to join (your consent). You can withdraw it at any time, as described below. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
Waitlist entries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database run by Cloudflare, Inc. Our emails are sent through Resend. Both act for us as service providers and may process data outside the country you live in.
How long we keep it
- The confirmation link in your email works for 7 days.
- If you don't confirm, your entry is deleted automatically within about 30 days.
- Once confirmed, we keep your entry until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the launch.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: every email has an unsubscribe link. Using it deletes your waitlist entry straight away.
- See, correct or delete your details: email [email protected] from the address you signed up with.
- Complain: if you're unhappy with how we handled your data, tell us first. You may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll publish the new version here with a new version name, and record which version each person agreed to.
